Lyrics:
“The Lord is my Shepherd,” the millions will say.
They sing songs of Jesus, His banner they wave.
They wear His apparel – that cross on a chain.
They fill the arena and sing out His name.
But who are those whom the Shepherd knows?
Hear what the Shepherd says:
CHORUS:
My sheep, they hear the sound of My familiar voice.
I speak, I whisper, and it pierces through the noise.
I know them, they know Me,
And wherever I may go
My sheep, My sheep are sure to follow.
The wheat and the weeds all together will grow.
The wisdom of God has decided it so.
Though churches may grow and their seats overflow,
Who are the ones that the Good Shepherd knows?
Yes, who are those whom the Shepherd knows?
Hear what the Shepherd says:
BRIDGE:
Do you hear him, oh, do you hear Him
When He calls, when He tells you the way?
Do you follow close, do you follow?
Are you walking beside Him today?
Does He know you, oh, does He know you?
Does the Shepherd know your name?
Will He hold you safe, will He hold you
In His arms at the end of the age?
